Background: The entry of heavy metals into the food chain is an important environmental challenge for humans. Due to their potential accumulating in body, different aspects hazard posed by should be carefully examined. Objectives: present study was conducted determine concentrations such as Arsenic (As), Cadmium (Cd), Chromium (Cr), Lead (Pb), and Nickel (Ni) tuber crops i.e., potatoes onions Rasht, north Iran.
